What is TheraCounsel?
TheraCounsel represents a group of big-hearted psychotherapists, including Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs), Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists (LMFTs), Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) and Nurse Practitioners (ARNPs) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners.

What happens in psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy is a treatment for mental health issues and everyday challenges by talking with a provider. You learn how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors affect your mood and how to respond to life’s stresses in ways that align with your true self.
What can you expect in your first session?
In the first session, the therapist gathers information about your needs, discusses therapy types, the treatment goals, session length, and how many sessions may be needed to reach your goals.
